Responsible for bringing new product lines to consumers in an engaging, functional way, while opening new distribution channels. Work creatively and pragmatically to conserve resources and engage the product line’s potential audience. Knowledge of key demographics and an innovative perspective on product development are important in this role. Reviews and manages new business objectives and challenges, existing products, services, technology, operations, and methodologies; and collaborates with key stakeholders to make rational recommendations for prioritization of product management activities. Work closely with engineering, sales and marketing teams to ensure they have adequate support to make informed decisions required to meet the company goals for revenue and customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities:
Researches the market and customer input, helps create solutions and bring new product ideas to the table, and helps shape, direct, and execute the company's product vision.
Perform and report market research on company’s current position in the market as well as competitors. Utilize research to identify market needs and develop plan to develop and launch new product lines.
Be a subject matter expert with respect to our product range, competition and vehicles in the market.
Focuses on revenue and margin opportunities that align with the company's strategy and core competencies.
Manages the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
Develops, measures, and tracks return on investments of products and product lines and develops product key performance indicators.
Ensures a market-driven and well thought out product offering. Includes pricing, placement, and promotion.
Analyzes customer, channel, competitive, and market data; and stays informed on all aspects of the competition.
Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, and Operations teams to develop product requirements, definitions, and process; and partners with development teams to roll out products and services and execute features and capabilities.
Works with key subject matter experts to assess and determine whether to buy, build, or partner.
Works with external third parties to develop partnerships and opportunities.
Meets with customers and stakeholders to assess market needs.
Presents product ideas, development updates, and training to internal audiences.
Participates in corporate functions that represent the brand.
Works with cataloging team to ensure high quality catalog data.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Knowledge of Automotive aftermarket and industry

Position Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related area preferred, or equivalent experience
Automotive Technology certifications a plus but not required
Experience:
3+ years of relevant Product Management, Sales, Engineering or Marketing experience
High technical knowledge of automotive systems
Intimate knowledge of the Off-Road aftermarket
Intimate knowledge of the OE Automotive business
Experienced with ACES and PIES data standards
