Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) is seeking a BE/BC full-time Neurologist with fellowship training in Epilepsy to join our established Neurology practice at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Practice opportunity details include:

• Candidates must have completed an accredited Epilepsy fellowship (1-2 year; 2 year preferred)
• Ideal candidates must be energetic, personable, and a team-player
• Candidates would primarily see Epilepsy cases and supplement case volume with general Neurology cases as needed
• Candidates with strong research and teaching interests are encouraged to apply
• Join a team of 3 Epileptologists, 1 Epilepsy-trained Pediatric Neurologist, and 2 APPs
• 453-bed hospital adjacent to clinic practice and 200-bed hospital 60 minutes away with referrals for admission from multiple community and critical access facilities in Central Illinois
• Strong hospitalist program and critical care support
• Neuro ICU
• Burgeoning service line poised for increased development
• Opportunity for program leadership and development
• Teaching opportunities available through the Carle Illinois College of Medicine (CICOM) and accredited Neurology residency program at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, IL
• Faculty appointment opportunities with the CICOM, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering with active participation in Neurology clerkships
• Collaboration with the University of Illinois and the Beckman Institute for a variety of neuroscience translational research programs, if desired
• Integrated neurosciences care with strong physician-centered management
• General Neurology and multiple Neurology subspecialty services encompassing Behavioral Neurology, Epileptology (EMU and ICU continuous/video EEG; Level 3 Epilepsy Center working towards Level 4), NeuroOphthalmology, Vascular Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Neurophysiology and Pain Medicine; Pediatric Neurology specialists also on site
