Job Description:

• Administers Workers Compensation benefit program and conducts investigations.
• Generates Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) log and summary, and submits them to the Department of Labor.
• Reviews incident log for trends, and recommends program to reduce exposure.
• Execute OSHA and Life Safety inspections for 158 buildings.
• Plans, develops, and executes training for various OSHA topics, such as forklift licenses and bloodborne pathogens.
• Provides information and guidance to graduate students who study Behavior Based Safety.
• Maintains various EHS policies.
• Acts as EHS representative when director is not available. May provide direction to student workers.
• Leads projects to improve efficiency and collaboration.
• Plans and executes fire and tornado drills as required by the State of Michigan.

Short Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
• Three years' relevant experience.
