Major Duties: General Summary:- Helps to ensure the health and safety of students, visitors, contractors and employees of Western Michigan University at multiple campus locations. Conducts training, inspections, and provides input into institutional policy that apply to the Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) field. Functions as the subject matter expert for the Workers Compensation internal process and assists employees who have filed a Workers Compensation claim.Major Duties:- Administers Workers Compensation benefit program and conducts investigations.- Generates Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) log and summary, and submits them to the Department of Labor. - Review incident log for trends, and recommends program to reduce exposure.- Execute OSHA
