As a key part of Ankura’s Business Services team – the People Office leads all things People for this dynamic and growing organization. Comprised of People Acquisition, People Advisory, and People Operations – the People team has a pulse on everything that happens in the firm – driving key strategies for the firm to continue to meet and exceed goals.
The Compensation and Benefits group is aligned under the People Operations team. As the firm continues to grow, we have found a need to find someone who enjoys the compensation space who wants to work in both strategy and the day to day activities of executing an organization’s compensation plan. This role is ideal for someone who has gotten a solid foundation in compensation, but is ready and looking for a bigger challenge.
The Senior Consultant, Compensation leads the development, implementation, and administration of Ankura’s compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Manages Ankura’s compensation functions, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design, and associated analysis.
Ensures that base pay, incentive pay, variable pay (where applicable) and other recognition options remain competitive and conform to current compensation strategy.
Manages year end compensation process ensuring completion of annual performance increases as well as bonus payments in accordance with firm requirements.
Partners with Leadership and People Advisory to help develop promotion and retention strategies for existing employees.
Ensures that total compensation programs remain competitive and conform to compensation strategy through external benchmarking and reviews.
Partners with People Acquisition to ensure ongoing education and awareness of compensation policies, programs and total compensation options.
Reviewed, develops and implement recognition programs.
On an as needed basis, supports employee benefits projects.
Applies a strong project management focus to ensure that project milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Ensure compliance with all global data privacy requirements.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
4 - 5 years of Compensation experience.
Experience working in a Compensation function / positions.
Experience working in the professional services industry.
Workday experience is highly desirable
Strong communication, analytical and human relations skills.
Skilled at effectively managing and prioritizing escalations or business critical situations.
Consistently exhibits high levels of discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
Demonstrated command skills and an ability to influence others.
Ability to coordinate, control, and organize multiple functions and activities.
Must be comfortable multi-tasking and adjusting
