Responsible for developing, recommending and administering the hospital's total rewards and employee benefits program. Administers benefit plan offerings including health and welfare, retirement, and supplemental programs. Acts as primary liaison with employees, plan administrators, vendors, insurance carriers, and government agencies. Researches compensation and benefits trends, prepares cost estimates and recommends plan modifications or improvements. Ensures programs comply with applicable laws, regulations and reporting requirements. Develops and/or assists in the development of hospital-wide compensation and benefits programs and policies. Oversees the implementation, administration, and compliance requirements of various programs including: job evaluation, salary structure development, annual increases, and special reward/incentive initiatives. Develops competitive total compensation philosophy, oversees annual performance review process, and manages compensation programs.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Finance with 5 years of Human Resource experience with emphasis on benefits and compensation administration.
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist preferred.
Expertise in a variety of total rewards concepts, practices and procedures, insurance plans, compliance and regulatory requirements related to Human Resources, Compensation and Benefit Administration.
