The System Administrator, Total Rewards position is a newly created role and reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. This role is responsible for compensation and benefits design, organization and implementation across the entire health system. As well, this leader will be over the Colleague Health department, which includes responsibilities for colleague well-being programs. This leader will work hand in hand with the SVP and CHRO to obtain the following outcomes:
Building a compensation and benefit leadership team capable of aligning with MHS strategy.
Planning and execution of the organization’s total rewards strategy.
The integration, standardization and administration of MHS’ affiliate compensation programs and practices across the healthcare system.
Alignment and growth of the colleague well-being program.
Development of strong relationships with key organizational stakeholders and partners.
The ideal candidate will have proven success in leading and building a team, a track record of having strong technical knowledge of both compensation and benefits, the ability to manage large projects of varying complexity and be motivated to drive change with a growing organization. He/she must be comfortable leading a diverse workforce including remote colleagues. This position requires a master’s degree in business administration, human resources, finance or comparable field. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or comparable designation is required. A professional human resources certification is preferred. The candidate must have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of leadership compensation, benefits, and HR experience with a broad knowledge of total rewards programs. Compensation and benefit experience in a major healthcare system preferred. Also, a high level of comfort with compensation database systems, ideally MarketPay, and working knowledge of HRIS platforms, preferably Lawson.
