This position supports the Global Total Rewards team in the day to day analysis, execution and communication of programs and policies related to compensation. Key customers include the HR Business Partners, Field People Resources and the Employee Service Center.
Collaborate with the Rewards team to ensure base pay competitiveness, and balance internal equity within the local pay structure.
Evaluate and market price positions at all levels of the organization utilizing external market data and internal position comparisons to make salary recommendations to ensure alignment with the broad based compensation structure.
Oversee the quarterly and annual market data collection process by executing, tracking and monitoring survey purchases, submissions and results.
Maintain Market Pay software and serve as subject matter expert on software.
Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of salary & hourly range structures
Routinely run Restaurant Wage Calculator to determine legal minimum wage adjustments, competitive wage adjustments and applicable compression including exception reports and related communications.
Prepare compensation recommendations to facilitate promotions, demotions and lateral job changes.
Annually, or as needed, provide Restaurants with their pay guidelines
Actively support and contribute to the Annual Compensation Cycle
Partner with other Reward team members to develop education/communication materials on compensation fundamentals
Consult with Compensation Managers and provide adhoc support as needed.
Continually challenge the status quo in an effort to identify continuous improvement opportunities and gain efficiencies.
Knowledge and Experience
Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally; a strong team player
Highly analytical and with strong attention to detail
Solid understanding of compensation fundamentals
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite: especially Excel and Power Point
Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written
Proactive Self Starter with the desire for continuous learning
Flexible in approach with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
Excellent Customer First orientation
2-4 years of work specializing in rewards, compensation and HRMS within a complex, multi-site organization
